Our girls section The Tynedale Panthers have been honoured by the RFU and Old Mutual Wealth for their work developing girls rugby. We have been selected by a national panel as Champions of the Kids First initiative and the reward for this is to attend and be the guard of honour at the Old Mutual Wealth Autumn Internation between England and South Africa at Twickenham today.

Our girls will do a rugby demonstration on the pitch before the main event and be the guard of honour when the teams come out onto the pitch. They will enter Twickenham through the players entrance, have been allocated their own changing room, will be on the pitch for the anthems and will take their seats to watch the match via the players tunnel. A fantastic honour and an amazing experience. The match kicks off at 2.30pm and we’re expecting good coverage on Sky Sports for Tynedale ahead of kick off.
