It was an excellent first workout at baking hot Tynedale Park with shadows at a premium. A big thank you to Luctonians who provided ideal opposition in a 4x20 minute contest and a massive thank you to the poor ref who was out there for the full 80 minutes.

Well done and congratulations to the four young 18 year olds, Jake Turnbull, Will Jobling, Jamie Hiles and William Jonas who made their first big steps into senior rugby. Onwards and upwards lads - its great to see you.
Also a big welcome to impressive Cumbrians Euan Forlow who played his first match for Tynedale and Jonny Dodds who played his first match for the 1stXV.
