Report from "The Rugby Paper":-
An improving Huddersfield stood firm to claim their third win of the season with an impressive bonus point display.
In a rousing start Field full-back Tom Hodson broke from half-way and a neat interchange found Joe Potter who surge in under the posts. Will Milner began a perfect conversion rate with the boot.
Tynedale struck back with their only points of the half , wingman Seamus Hutton going over in the corner for a converted try.
The hosts regained the lead through Eddie Brown on the end of a powerful Rob Jennings break.
With Field in the ascendency the alert Hodson chipped through for winger Fin Stewart to collect and score.
The bonus try came on the stroke of half-time. A well controlled driving maul saw prop Callum Thompson touch down for 28-7 at the break.
Dale full-back Adam Todhunter snatched an early try after the restart, to which Milner responded with a penalty kick before tempers began to fray with cards for Field's Ethan Myers and Jennings and Tynedale's Hutton in the space of five minutes.
The visitors attempted to capitalise but instead Milner rounded off a good afternoon for Huddersfield with a try deep into time added on.
