Match Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":-
A dominant Tynedale pack secured victory after an even derby encounter in which Will Nankivell led the way.
There was little to chose between the sides in the opening period but after the break the Tynedale forwards turned the screw, and provided the platform for what was a deserved win.
With the wind in their favour, Tynedale opened the scoring when Louis Frankland rounded off a good handling move for Josh Leslie to convert.
Billingham hit back with Louie Groark squeezing over, but it was Tynedale who extended their lead when Alex Dryden showed his pace to grab Tynedale's second after 28 minutes.
Billingham dominated possession at the start of the second half without really looking like scoring but the Tynedale pack started to go through the gears shoving the Teesiders back at will.
Tynedale spurned a series of penalty chances to go for scrums, and one too many offences inevitably resulted in a penalty try.
More forward power brought the bonus-point score when Oscar Caudle stretched over. Billingham had the last word with a late consolation try through Jonny Horner converted by Ryan Foreman.
