PRE-MATCH LUNCHES
Pre-match lunches need to be booked in advance (by 23:59 on the Thursday) using a simple on-line reservation & payment system. Due to a maximum capacity this will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
The lunch prior to our first home match of the season against Billingham on the 14th September will be served from 1.30pm with BAR1876 opening from 12noon.

LEEDS TYKES V TYNEDALE

Tyne start the season off with what will be a testing match against Leeds Tykes who will be disappointed to find themselves still playing in our league after being many peoples' favourites for promotion throughout last season.

PIPPED AT THE POST
Leeds Tykes appeared to be heading for promotion to National League One last year but the top of the National Two (North) table at the end of the season, showed that late season results swayed thing in Rotherham’s favour with Leeds losing two of their 26 matches to Rotherham’s single loss.
Leeds surprise 18-17 defeat at Fylde on 13th April proved critical.

6th January 2024 Tynedale 12 Leeds Tykes 35
After half an hour Tynedale were leading 12-0, but the Tykes responded with five tries, all converted by Kieran Davies; three scored by Charlie Venables and two by hooker Arrin Yorke.

6th April 2024 Leeds Tykes 55 Tynedale 14
Again Tynedale scored first with a try by Seamus Hutton, but the Tykes ran out easy winners with nine tries; a hat-trick from Henry Macnab and two more from Venables.
