Despite a better performance than in recent weeks, Otley were blown away by Tynedale's forwards.
A series of early penalty scrums ended in a penalty try for Tynedale. Otley hit back when Eddie Crossland fed Adam Malthouse to score, with Crossland adding the conversion.
After a lineout penalty the Tynedale forwards battered the Otley line with David Batey going over, Cameron Grant landing the first of four conversions.
From a scrum Otley levelled the scores when Jacob Holmes crossed the line at the end of the first quarter.
A 15-metre driving maul saw Ben Haigh regain the lead for Tynedale. Grant then kicked a penalty after Otley's scrum infringed.
As the first half came to a close Tom Mann pass created space and a free run at the line for Joe Davis to score Tynedale's bonus try.
Tynedale launched a series of attacks, but Otley held out for 20 minutes, finally conceding a penalty for offside in their 22.
Otley's pack mauled their way forward to 10 metres out from where the ball was kicked across the field for Elliott Spiers to touch down.
This was immediately cancelled out by a try from James Telford.
A spirited revival at the end saw Ryan Gibson go over to secure Otley a deserved bonus point,
