Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":-
Lymm suffered a big blow to their National Two North title hopes after defeat against Tynedale at Crouchley Lane.
The hosts started in flying fashion, opening the scoring within three minutes as hooker Rob Makin bundled over from a rolling maul.
But Tynedale quickly struck back to take a 7-5 lead, fellow hooker Harrison Wood scoring with Cameron Grant converting.
Rhyss Lilly responded for Lymm after several fast phases broke through the visitors' defence, before Wood got his second for Tynedale from a powerful maul to make it 12-14 to Tynedale after 20 minutes.
Charlie Turnbull then added another five to further extend the visitors' lead and when Will Roberts also went over they had a try bonus point in the bag. Lymm responded in the final minute of the half through a try from scrum-half Cal Morris to make it 28-19 to Tynedale at the interval.
The game was finished as a contest ten minutes into the second half as Tynedale stunned the hosts with three quickfire tries. First Alex Dryden crossed twice before Roberts grabbed his second of the day to make the scoreline 47-19.
Lymm scored twice as the game was ebbing away through replacement James Pitcher and Ben Thompson but this rally wasn't enough to stop the hosts suffering their second defeat in the league campaign.
