Match Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":-
Fylde's strong second half helped secure a bonus-point win over Tynedale yesterday.
Tynedale started the game strong, scoring from Alex Dryden's counter within five minutes of kick off, before a neat Cam Grant conversion left them seven points to the good.
The home side replied with back-to-back tries from Matt Garrod and Rob Williamson after a huge line-out maul. With both being in a corner, no conversions were landed and the game sat at 10-7 after 20 minutes.
The visitors struck back, however, at the half hour mark as Joe Hanning went over the top of the Fylde defence after an excellent maul.
A yellow for Tynedale's Owen Vassallo didn't stop the visitors and they led t the break.
Fylde came out of the second half blacks flying with Freddie Reader finishing a superb passing move. Will Hunt's conversion gave Fylde a 17-12 lead.
Tries kept coming for the home side thanks to Cam Smith and Adam Lanigan, both scoring in the right and left corners respectively.
Rhys Beeckman's try in the final play of the match was a consolation prize for the visitors but not enough for a losing bonus point, as Fylde had come out 27-19 winners.
