Match Report from 'The Rugby Paper':-
Tynedale produced a five-try flourish to see off Chester and record back-to-back victories.
The Northumbrians were always in control, fly-half Jake Rodgers contributing a try, a penalty and four conversions to ensure Tynedale were in the ascendency.
An early yellow for Chester's flanker David Ford for a high tackle helped Tynedale attack, No8 Ben Blackburn giving them a tenth-minute lead from a scrum.
Winger Adam Todhunter rounded off a slick three-quarter move for the second try after 23 minutes, before more forward pressure brought a score for flanker Marcus Tiffin in the 28th minute, Rodgers converting all three tries for a 21-0 lead.
Chester ended the half strongly and were rewarded with a lineout catch and drive try for replacement Alex Reed, converted by fly-half Liam Reeve for a 21-7 half-time scoreline.
Chester began the second half well, but an interception by Rodgers on his own ten-metre line in the 49th minute saw the fly-half jink and swerve his way through for the bonus-point try, which he converted for a 28-7 advantage.
Rodgers then added a penalty before Chester lock Harry Wilkinson charged down a clearance and won the race to touch the loose ball down for Reeve to convert.
That was as good as it got for Chester, an attempt to run the ball out from defence late on went badly wrong, the ball ending up in Tynedale hands for winger Seamus Hutton to score their fifth converted try.
