Tynedale started well with a try in the opening minute of the game following a charged down clearance kick with Dan Kerr gathering the ball to score.
At the restart Tynedale failed to secure possession and the plucky boro team pressed home their advantage to level the score at 7-7.
Both teams struggled to get any continuity in possession with slippery ball and underfoot conditions.

In the second half Middlesbrough began to tire allowing the Tynedale backs to demonstrate their superior pace and three unanswered tries took the score to 50-17.
